No Place Like Home for the Holidays

Oh, there's no place

like home

for the holidays

'cause no matter

how far away

you roam

if you want

to be happy

in a million ways

for the holidays

you can't beat

home sweet home!

I'll be home for Christmas

You can count on me

Please have snow and mistletoe

And presents on the tree

Christmas Eve will find me

Where the love light gleams

I'll be home for Christmas

If only in my dreams...

One more week till Christmas Eve!
And guess what? I'm almost ready!!

=)

Good for you for being almost ready! I love your decorations. your home is beautiful, and your family is going to love all the memories there!

House looks ready! Do you have to move decorations when grandkids come? There's no way I could leave all that stuff within reach. Hyrum would destroy all!

I do have to admit that my daughter-in-law spends some time the first day moving stuff onto higher ground. But the two oldest kids are pretty good about being gentle with things now. The baby, on the other hand...

;)

(That's okay. It's the first glimpse of Christmas majesty that counts, right? After that, it's a free-for-all anyway around here.)

What a beautiful home!! I'm glad you're not ready, otherwise I would feel depressed at how not ready we are!

Your home looks like a lot of fun will be happening there! I still have to plan a menu (for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, and throughout the day for nibbling)AND bake some goodies. Seems like a lot still.
