Happy Boys Will Be Boys

What do boys like better than football?

And running down the field, flags flying?

Who wouldn't want to sound off in a huddle?

Or watch the sun set behind the goal posts?

(An avid fan always sports a side of popcorn...)

we cheer loudest for our grandson, #18
the popcorn boy belongs to us, too

Is it more or less stressful to watch a grandchild play than to watch a child? I hope mine move closer so I can find out someday.

Asides from loving these, I had to share my son is confused. He wanted to know what the boys were playing and when I said football he replied they were playing wrong. (football = soccer)

Our son played football this fall. It was so fun to watch and brought a ton of smiles here.

I only have the one boy and he is 15 and no longer plays team sports. I find myself missing the sidelines sometimes.....

This looks like so much fun!! The girls are just now getting involved in swimming and this summer we'll get them into tennis. I love watching kids play sports! It's such a great activity for the whole family!

p.s. the popcorn looks great--my personal favorite snack!

All of my athletic grandchildren are girls! Just returned from the Big South volleyball tournament in Atlanta with #1 granddaughter, Addiel Great, isn't it? Much more fun as a grandparent......

Namaste, my friend.........cj

You probably have nicer football weather than we have right now- no wonder those boys look so happy!

A lot of people related to this one. I can remember how we lived and died with Rich's team. They won their Little League championship too. I even remember his number 76. It's no wonder he is such a football fan to this day. If he had been a bit larger I am sure he would have played in his High School and College years too. He was really very good.
