Homeward Bound

Well, I'm sitting at the airport waiting to wing my way north again. Got here super early because I took a shuttle...and they allow enough extra time to choke a horse. That's okay, I've got the laptop and the Kindle, so I can entertain myself for a couple of hours.

Had a great vacation but I'm ready to go home and see the hubby. Having been gone for 12 days, our longest separation ever, I thought I'd surprise him by returning today instead of tomorrow, when he expects me. (If you know him, don't spill the beans, okay?) Seeing me there tonight ought to bring a big smile to his face.

I think he's been kinda lonely.

=)

That is so sweet you want to surprise him...but can you be sure he won't read this?

Yep, he never reads my blog when he's at work. It's foolproof!

What a nice surprise for your hubby. My hubby enjoys those surprises. I know you had a great time, but getting home will be fun too at this point I am sure. Hugs

Enough time to choke a horse {{{chortle, snicker, snort}}}}}}

Hope the flight is smooth and the reunion wonderful!

The thing my hubby and I always say when we go on vacation is, "it's good to go away,....and it's good to come home!" We love to go...but we are always so happy coming to our little piece of Paradise again!!
It's nice to miss each other a little too, once in a while, isn't it?

I'll bet he's smiling from ear to ear. It really is good to be home after several days away, and look at all the great memories you'll have in your head!

Wow. Twelve days is a long time to be apart. I am sure he is very lonely and that he was very, very happy to see you last night!

Yay for surprises- and for going home early.

Actually, I am a little surprised that you lasted as long as you did. I am absolutely sure that he was VERY VERY HAPPY to have you home again. It's awful to be the one that has to stay home suring a separation.
