Reggae Goes Kosher

Guest Poster: Matt, aka Son of Sue

I first heard Matisyahu about a year ago and was surprised to find out on youtube that he's a fully uniformed Hasidic Jew and not a Jamaican sushi chef. If you watch the whole song, and you should, you will see that he even stage dives. (I am guessing that he calls this move a Passover.) Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video.

Back to Sue, aka Mother of Matt

Official Disclaimer:  My eldest has an irreverent sense of humor that he clearly did NOT get from his infinitely more gentile mother. I'm not exactly sure where he got it. What I am sure of is that I have spent a good portion of my life trying to mitigate his remarks. I also try not to laugh at them, but it doesn't always work. In fact, I laughed right before I edited this guest post from him! (I know, it's scary to think that this is the edited version...)

Anyway, the point is that we have become big fans of Matisyahu. Be sure to scroll down and click off my playlist before you listen to (and even better, actually view) this singular rendition of King Without A Crown. You have not seen its equal. I promise. So watch it all the way through, my friends. You will not be sorry.
You might be sorry about the Ringtone ad...

Wow. I love that you like this kind of music. All my mom ever listens to is the classical channel and Strauss waltzes. Not that there's anything wrong with that!
