To tell you the truth, I don't have an opinion on H1N1...I'm officially on the fence. (Confounded, so to speak.) And besides, it's not even available for people my age where I live, diabetes notwithstanding, so I don't have to make a decision one way or the other. But this Saturday Night Live-esque video is cleverly done, and worrisome things always go down better with a bit of humor, right?
Be sure to hang with it to the end, as it builds to a sort of extended punch line. Enjoy!

sue-
the present 'powers that be' scare me and i've never been a big flu shot person. got one once and had the worse flu that year that i ever remember. so i'm not opting into it for me or my kids. we'll stay home if we need to.
Laughed out loud at this one! Thanks for a needed dose of humor (pun absolutely intended).
I did make my kids all get the H1N1, just to protect Eve. If I hadn't had a brand-new baby, I think I would still be officially on the fence like you.
No H1N1 shots here...not until they've been time-proven...just like the 1st edition of anything, the 2nd Edition is always "New & Improved"! cute post!
Super cute!!! I laughed so hard at this sketch!
That's exactly what I think of the flu shot.
No fence sitting on this one for me...I'll take my chances.
Great video! I do wonder but made my kids get the H1N1 because wrestling does a number on the immune system and because Gma lives with us. I know she is supposed to be immune but...
Hugs,
Love the slightly satirical take on the flu shot- what a great video.
I'm also a fence sitter on the regular flu vaccine, I'm anti-h1n1, I was reading an article about what is happening to make the vaccine go further-if you will. An adjuvent is being added to make it stretch, and the one that they are using has been proven to be not safe for human use. Exciting right- love how they tell you the ingredients
Hilarious! And it gives a little food for thought. I, too am a fence sitter, though leaning more to the "its all hysteria" mindset, but that is just me. Thanks for the laugh though!
