Call Me

Call Me
©2014 Susan Noyes Anderson

I'm waiting for my master,
but the rascal doesn't care.
I wish he'd get here faster,
but I haven't got a prayer.

He takes me quite for granted,
though I'm at his beck and call.
So call me disenchanted.
Mine's a dog's life after all.

Ah, poor little doggy. (My foot.) They know how to get their way only too well. And what is he doing sitting ON the sofa?

Nice poem, Sue.

Poor baby! I always feel bad for Eddy when everyone's gone for the day. He gets tons of attention later on and frankly, if I were a dog, I would love to have me and family for my owners!

Wonderful, as always! Our dog does (or should) not have that complaint as she is quite spoiled and the princess of the house!

I am back reading posts and I have so missed yours.
Love, hugs and blessings for you!
