One for All, and All for...

A family walk through nature is
a metaphor for living.

Such time, when spent with those we love,
is reason for thanksgiving.

There is no trail too treacherous,
no rock too steep to climb,

no stony path too daunting,
nor high point too sublime.

In fact, the sky's the limit
when the company is right.

It's hard to get discouraged when
the world is bathed in light.

Companionship is everything;
good friends along the way

make all things possible for us
and brighten every day.

Take time for fun and frolic;
turn your grown-up selves down low.

The young have much to teach us
as they live and learn and grow.

Remember who you are. Reach out
for what you want to be.

Together, you will find it...
One for all, and all for three!

Okay, I have to quit reading your blog. It's making me all emotional and weepy. Sigh. Love this. Start to finish and all the pieces in between.

fantastic pictures. I love going for walks like that. I would much rather do that than go out to brunch or anything else like that.

Lovely poetry: my favorite line - "turn your grownup selves down low" and beautiful images. Tell your granddaughter I love her outfit - very sassy!

Love the poem and those kidlets are the sweetest. I love her long hair with those curls! Everyone needs to take a nature walk with a child and get a whole new perspective of what's fun and beautiful. You have achieved both with this post!

What a fun post! I enjoyed the little walk with the children. They really are quite wonderful, aren't they? Such good pictures too........Can you just imagine how many thousands of pictures they will have of themselves by the time they grow up? They are so fortunate to have such a good photographer for their mom. BTW the poetry was pretty tood too!
