The quest for height is inborn.
We love to climb up and look down
If we would fly like eagles,
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings
as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31

Excellent point, Sue.
As always, I loved your poem. It is a good reminder for us all.
:)
Beautiful!
What a wonderful message this poem carries. It truly touch my very soul Miss Sue.
Thanks!!!
God bless ya and have an awesome day!!! :o)
true that...not much flying done without those wings...smiles...
hope you have a great tuesday!
I love the scripture you posted with this. Anything that promises energy like that is taken to heart with me. Especially on days like today where I am so bogged down with allergy medicine!
My wings have felt clipped for a while now, but I'm beginning to feel the new feathers start growing again. I know what you mean.
So beautiful and true! Love it, Sue.
Even me, who's afraid of heights, enjoys a room with a view. The Celestial room usually is the one that helps give me my spirit wings...beautiful, sweet poem Sue.
Wonderful pictures with good compositions between the lines. A beautiful bird's flight.
The quest for height is inborn...Never thought of it that way. I guess we are always looking upward and onward!
I always LOVE it when you find a way to include those cute grandchildren in your blog.
I love the thought!
What a great perspective...both in your photos and in your message.
I need to remember to 1.) Find those wings more often, and 2.) Use them. Exercise them regularly.
Thanks for the beautiful reminder!
they say it's hard to soar with the eagles when you are a turkey! Explains my dislike of airplnes, I guess.
Thanks. Need to hear that once in a while.
lovely thoughts.
Okay, I love this!!
Isn't it funny how we are willing to stretch ourselves physically but not spiritually? A good reminder for me today. I hope to spread my wings a bit further today.
Oh what great shots!!!!! Well done.
How true this is sweet dear Sue. I loved reading your poem. What beautiful music you selected for this special post.
Can't believe your seeing my precious Darlene this weekend. Please give her a big hug for me.
Love ya
Maggie
Love this. And there's no shame in seeking for higher ground, so long as it's not by trampling on those below.
