Tomorrow is a big day for my youngest son, who is happily graduating from the University of Arizona. He majored in molecular and cellular biology...and as I've mentioned before, his next plan is med school. He's actually on a couple of wait lists for September, but if that doesn't pan out, he'll apply again for 2012.
Needless to say, we're proud of him. A career in medicine is a looooong road, and we applaud his determination to walk down it.
In the meantime, Happy Graduation, Todd! Cancun (our treat) awaits you!!
=)
PS. We're going with him when he's ready to take the trip!

Congratulations. What a great accomplishment. Can I go with you on your trip????
That's the best kind of graduation present--one where mom and dad benefit too!
Congratulations to Todd and to you!
When I graduated from college, I got a necklace. I've worn it once. Cancun wins!
What a wonderful accomplishment. Cancun sounds great.

Congratulations to him and best of luck with medical school. I have heard of a couple people who had a spot open up just before school started. HOpefully the same will happen with him.
whoa...i want to graduate too so i can go to cancun!!!!! smiles. congrats...a new life awaits when you return....
Congratulations and best wishes to Todd for a job well done! I can't wait to see where he attends med school. That picture of the beach made me crazy with desire to go somewhere tropical and sit on a beach beside the blue ocean. And what are YOU going to do there, my shade loving friend? I suggest a good book (or several) read by an open balcony door while listening to the waves, and then going into town for amazing food when the sun cools down. And oooooh, the food is SOOO good!
Congrats to Todd! What generous parents to take a fun trip for graduation. Have fun and be safe!
Congratulations, Todd!
Sue, you and your husband must be so proud! Best wishes to all of you and Cancun sounds like it will be heavenly! :)
What a great reason to celebrate!!
When you do go, be sure and bring your computer so you can blog about it. :)
Congratulations to your son, and his parents for raising such a determined man. I hope you all enjoy your trip!
Wow--such a fabulous achievement! Hope he takes time to thoroughly savor it all. That present is one of the finest graduation presents I have ever heard of--what fun for all! Congrats!
So is he going to walk or wait until he is done with medical school?
I bet it is a reward day when your children accomplish something great! Happy Day!
Congratulations! Are you coming through Phoenix?
I've missed you this last week.
BRAVO! On the accomplishment and the "treat"!
Sue- congrats. A lot of that success is due to your support along the way. You deserve that trip just as much & I can't wait to see the photos when that time comes.
how exciting!!! congrats to all, as it is an accomplishment of many:)
Sue I am so very excited and happy for all of you especially Todd for seeking a career in medicine.
You have to be over the moon happy for him and proud too. As you should be.
Knowing you the way I have gotten to know you I know that Todd will exceed in anything he does in life.
Look at his mother and grandmother Darlene. I love them both.
Your PS about going on the trip with him is priceless. Love it and you
Maggie
Such an accomplishment! Cancun would be worth it!
Congrats to Todd and good luck in Med school because I know he'll get in and be a super Doc! Have fun on the trip..all of you!
I'm sure that Todd will be very happy with his graduation gift. Fun too, that you will be going along. I'm a bit like Karen in my thoughts. I know you will get a lot of reading done and also blogging, because the beach and the sun will be out for you. But, I've heard the nights are absolutely gorgeous there. It is kind of a desert though, rather than lots of greenery, isn't it? I think that's what Nancy and Charles told me. I would probably love it. Where else can you get the desert and the ocean in one place?
Whew! Congrats to him. And NM has a great Med school...fyi!
Congratulations! What an amazing accomplishment!
I like your raised vegetable beds. I need to do something like that here. I'd love to know more about them.
Just wish we could be there for the graduation. I am so darned proud of that kid, I can hardly stand it. Am so praying that he won't have to wait another whole year before med school though. I would love to see him go to Irvine.
I'm so glad we'll get to be seeing him soon, to say nothing about the rest of you. It won't be long now. I can't believe how much of May is already gone.
Oh! Congratulations on your son's graduation! All the best for his future endeavors! And what a wonderful trip ;o)
Blessings & Aloha!
I'm so thankful that Blogger is up and running again! Please stop by if you get a chance...
Hope something opens up for him, hang in there with the wait.
Congrats!
