The Graduate

Needless to say, we got to the stadium early.

Before long, the graduates were in their seats.

It was fun to see Todd's name flash up on the screen.

Even more fun to see him with his cap, gown, and honor cords.

I think he liked our card to him.

I know he liked chatting with his dad after the ceremony.

Aren't they a good-looking pair?

These caps are pesky things, aren't they?

The graduate, in all his summa cum laude glory!

(that's highest honors, folks)

And yes, we are shamelessly proud parents.

=)

PS. Don't worry. He actually shaves for the med school interviews! heehee

I was just going to say that his bearded face looked a little strange. Lately he has been growing a VERY short beard, which seems to be the sexy way to shave these days. I do think he looks cool though with the short bearded look. I'm glad you said that he would be shaving it for interviews though. I don't like the REALLY bearded look, you know, the long ones. That seems to be popular with couple of guys in our ward. Ask me if I think it looks great. The answer would be NO.

Having said that, I am so very very proud of this kid that I can hardly stand it. What a lot he has had to overcome in his life and how totally successful he has been at doing so. I love love love him and am dying to see him soon. So glad you are all coming.

Forgot to ask you if Karin is coming with you and I don't want to bother you by calling again.

Congrats to Todd and parents and family! It may take a village to raise a kiddo, but it's the parents who shed the happy tears!

This makes it all worth while doesn't it. I know you are thrilled!

I think this is the degree my sister graduated with. I'm not sure, but she works for USDA so she must do something in that field. Congratulations to your son!~Ames
