All That Glitters IS Gold...for me, anyway

The notion of updating our outdated bedroom makes me happy.

My jewelry harps, however, will remain.

Because, personally, I think they are waaaay cool.

Just imagine! So much sparkle, right at my fingertips.

{and the breeze makes them tinkle like fairy harps}

My husband just looked at my jewlery box on Sunday and mentioned that I needed something to hang my necklaces on. I had just asked him to untangle one of my necklaces. Loved this one.
Thanks for your comments on my posts; you are the best.
Blessings to you!

I have never seen those before. So cool that a breeze actually makes them "play music". :0)

Your jewelry harps are nice to look at and functional. I would definitely think they were keepers too.

Wow! Look at all those pretty dangles! I am getting rid of a jewelry box because I don't have that much in the way of jewelry.

Maybe I wouldn't lose so many earrings if I had a cool place for them! Very fun and girlie!

Lesa said...

Yes, you should keep them for sure. Awesome!

I think those are really neat! I lose things in my jewelry box so I end up using a drawer. Those harps are not only pretty but look much more organized!

I really like your harps, Sue. If indeed you are renovating your bedroom be sure to leave some space for the doo dads that you bought here at the Alley. They are in a bag waiting for you to take home when you leave. We are so looking forward to everyone coming for the golf weekend. While you are here, you might help me renovate my whole house to try to help me figure out what I need to put away. I am getting so much "stuff" that I no longer have any room for more. Help!! Just how much renovation do you mean to do in there anyway?

Are you redoing your room? Fun!! Those harps are way cool...incorporate those into your redo for sure!

I think it always makes you feel good to update a part of your house! It feels "fresh" again!
My daughter would just love those harps! She has about as many pair of earrings as you do and they all look good on her too! Me?...I just wear the same old pair ALL the time...ha!

You must keep the jewelry harps - especially if they make music in the breeze!

Very cool!!!

I really wish that Katie would stop signing me out of my blogging account when she's here. I've been commenting all over the place not realizing it was coming up as Katie instead of me! It's been a crazy day...

I didn't know there were such things as a jewelry harp! I had my husband build a necklace holder for me and it doesn't tinkle when there's a breeze!
It's fun to update a room.

I love your harps and honestly, I have to live vicariously through you on this one. Can you imagine what 3 toddler girls would do to this? Yes, it would be heaven for them! ;)

Holy smokes! That is a lot of bling. I haven't worn earings regularly for about 10 years. But, I should get back into so I can have cool harps like you!

Thank you for always commenting on my blog! I really love your sweet comments. Where did you get your jewelry harps? I think that would be a great Mother's Day gift. I have all my jewelry in a plastic shoe box! You are "Miss Fancy Pants" with those jewelry harps!

Updating a room is always so fun! And those are rather clever! I want one. Because I don't have any jewelry and if I bought one, I might be slightly more inclined to buy/wear jewelry. :)

They're lovely! And if they tinkle with the wind... I'm definitely sold on 'em. ;-)

Dropping by to return the favor of a visit. Thank you!

Hope Hump Day treats you and yours right!
