The Secret of Life...

I'm totally ready for this kind of view...

Cuz I can't see the [water] for the trees...

Can you?

But for tonight, this sight will do.

(Tomorrow, I might even have a review!)

Yes, my friends, tonight I will be drinking in the soothing song stylings of James Taylor and Carole King, and I can't wait. With any luck at all, I'll have some cool photos tomorrow, and you can bet I'll be giving you the low-down on what I've heard is one terrific concert.

Here I come, sweet nostalgia, here I come!

=)

I'll be thinking about you tonight. I know you will enjoy the concert and will be singing all the songs along with them in your head as I know that you know all the words to every song that James Taylor ever recorded and Carol King too for that matter. It is so great to be able to go back and listen to the kind of music you grew up with. We feel that way about the Four Freshmen and if they are within a couple of hours driving distance we will also get tickets and go go go. I do also love to listen to the soothing music of James Taylor so sometime tonight I will have Dick get me our CD of his and we will listen also.

I feel the earth move under my feet... Can I come too? OH how I wish. What a treat you are going to experience. I was never a James Taylor fan, but how I love Carole King music. And just hearing it now brings the 70s back.

I'm so jealous! I love James Taylor, and Carole King never did anything I didn't like either. What a great evening you have ahead of you. I want to hear all about it tomorrow!

WOW! I hope it was as wonderful as I imagine it could be. I have in the past few years, spent good money to listen to the Eagles in concert, because I like them and I am young again when I am there. I must admit, cell phones instead of lighters doesn't quite make it. It seems that none of us smoked in our group, but when we went to concerts, we'd buy a lighter to hold up...
