A Ray of Sunshine

Thanks, Amy, for this sunshine award. I'm supposed to pass it on to my ten favorite bloggers, but you know who you are...so just grab the gerber daisy and paste it right on your beautiful blogs!

It does seem like a good time to express my appreciation to those of you who visit here every day and make me feel like I'm connecting with real people and not just figments of my imagination. I especially thank those who make comments, because it's way more fun to have a conversation than perform a monologue. (Not that I wouldn't do the monologue if that was all that was available to me...sometimes the best thing a girl can do is converse with herself!) But most of the time, other people are necessary. So...thanks for being my "other people."

And thanks for letting me be one of your other people, too! I can't tell you how much I enjoy visiting your blogs and getting a little glimpse into your thoughts and lives. What a remarkable bunch of women I've met...and I hope to meet even more as I go along in this bloggy journey.

So pick up that award and have some fun with it! And if you are a lurker, say hello. You'll make my day.

=)

Since I'm the first to comment, I'll assume that I'm one of the bloggers you mentioned. I really feel I've found a friend. Thanks, Sue, for always commenting, always answering, and always caring.
Love to you today!

You know you are my girl. I know I can come to your blog everyday and feel uplifted, hope and inspiration. You are very wise and helpful to me.
I take comfort in knowing you are a real and someone that I would call my friend.
I love blogging for that.
I will post that darling daisy on my site just for the sunshine it brings.

So true Sue! I LOVE comments, they make blogging worth while. Thanks for always leaving me comments-I look forward to them! I got this award from someone, but didn't want to have to come up with 10 favorite blogs and contact all of them-I like how you did it!

Just like everyone else, I appreciate the comments on my blog. They're always cheerful, positive, and sometimes wickedly funny. Your blog is one I ALWAYS look forward to reading! Even though it's not sunny here today, it feels like it is.

Oh Sue- you are a ray of sunshine. You are one of the reasons blogging is fun, you are so good at reciprocating comments, and taking the time to leave a little drop of wisdom on my blog- thanks!

Oh, so glad you grabbed the one you wanted! Blogging really helps make the best friends from far away. I think this is the one I was giving you anyway, so that is awesome.

No problem, Amy.

When you said the award post accidentally got deleted, I thought you wanted me to just pick one...so I did! (And I'm glad I picked the right one because it was my favorite.)

I would probably be considered a lurker since I very rarely comment. But I do have you in my Google Reader and read your blog every day. I guess I am probably a little intimidated to comment very often since you are a writer - and I am not. But, you put into beautiful words just about every little thing that I have ever thought about. I would hope that if we ever met that we would be the best of friends. I love everything you write and you always "say" what I am thinking.

If I had a blog I would put up your little ray of sunshine. Maybe if I started a blog and started writing I could also find some people who cared about what I had to say...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your blog.
