Peace is Priceless

Leaving footprints on the shore...
what could any child ask more?
Those who grow up by the sea
own a place where peace comes free.

{Two of my grandkids, livin' the good life in So Cal.}

there is nothing so neat as feeling wet sand between your toes and feeling the soggy shore sink beneath you. I loved growing up in Miami.

How I love the sound of the ocean . . .
The sand, now that I can do without.

Love the ocean too. I woudn't EVER want to live there though. It is just too damp for me. I hate not having my sheets really dry when I go to bed. I would definitely have to have a pretty strong humidifier if I were to live anywhere close to the beach, but I do love to go there for a couple of days or so, especially to Newport Beach, but Huntington Beach is nice too.

Those two kids look cute wherever they are, but they do look like they are enjoying themselves.

Such happy souls! They look peaceful and contented as I always feel when I'm near the ocean...or even a lake! I love the water but I've never lived near it...except when I was little and my parents bought a second home by a lake that they had my Grandparents live in. I loved that little place! I was a happy kiddo with sand in my toes too!

Love that. I do miss the ocean. But there's a kind of peace that can be found in the mountains too.
