Idol Worship and Imitation

Watching my youngest grandson do his level best to copy everything his big brother does is endearing. (And ya gotta love the 9-year-old hero who isn't too cool to spend quality time with his little bro!)

Shouldn't everybody have that special someone?

The one who still lets you play, even when you're small?

...And gives you lots and LOTS of chances?

The one who makes you feel like you can conquer the world?

Shouldn't everybody have that special someone?

=)

Just had to throw in that last pic...After all, brothers will be brothers, right? ;)

It's wonderful when that person can be an older sibling. Being one of 5 I experienced hero worship where my big brother was concerned.....and was also looked up to by my younger siblings. I was selectively patient with them...... :)

Love the big brother/little brother thing. I'm watching it with Micah and Hyrum because Ben and Tucker never really had it. This time, it's truly sweet.

I love the golf photos. Hopefully that lovely trait will carry on into the teen years.

Older brothers and sisters are lucky that they have someone to be idolized by. But it's also the double-edged sword...as in my case. Since the littles watch the bigs and everything they do, it's important to be a good example. And that can be a hard thing. It's hard to be the big brother or sister but when it works out...the world is right.

so, so cute. And at least your older grandson lets him hang around.

brothers and sisters. Ya gotta love 'em. I was the youngest in my family, and always looked up to my big brother and older (by two years) sister. Looks like a lot of fun, BTW {:-D

I love that last little cartoon - so funny! Your grandsons are a treasure - I love to watch boys interact with each other. I never had a sister, so I'm more used to it.

With 4 boys in a row the hero worship skips a boy sometimes. My 4th boy loves to walk in the shadow of my 2nd son. I have to remind my 2nd boy of the power he holds in the life of the younger one. It can be used for good or evil :) Great post and love the pictures.
