Silver and Gold: Neil Young & Fox Theater

Ryan and I will be hangin' at the Fox Theater in Oakland tonight.
(Ryan=my second oldest son.)

The Fox opened in 1929, a one-of-a-kind venue.
(Historical building...lots of intricate carving and design.)

Tonight we'll see someone on this stage who knows how to rock it.
(Think Old Man, Silver and Gold, I Am a Child...)

Yep, we're talkin' Neil Young here...And Ryan and I can't wait!
(Soundtrack of my youth...Review tomorrow.)

=)

That is AWESOME! I don't know which I'd be more excited about...the theater or Mr. Young. What a treat!

Ahhhh, Squeal Young we would call him. I think that he's mellowed some. Still nothing can hold a candle to James Taylor

I wish I would take time to appreciate music the way you do.
Hope it's fantastic!

This sounds like a lot of fun. I don't live to far from Oakland.

Now I'm jealous! Wait'll I tell LaMar - he'll be sick with desire to be there. Rock "Cinnamon Girl" for me, won't you? And then wax nostalgic with "Forever Young." Because we are, aren't we?

The thing about this night is that I think it is so great that Mom and son can go out and have a great evening----just the two of you. It is so neat that you can really enjoy the same music. Just know you will have a super good time.

Hi Sue! How fun for you and your son! My 22 year old son and I saw BB King a couple of years ago and it was fabulous. He and I share some of the same music likes, too.
Also, I LOVE Neil Young!! I saw him on TV not too long ago, and yes what a sweet guy!!
