Hearts and Arrows

 A tasty treat for Valentine's

is sure to spread the love around.

The sweetest story, shared by two

creates a space where joy is found...

a place where laughter can abound.

Come with a grin and sit a spell

with those who know you very well

and love you more than words can tell.

A belated Happy Valentine's Day from
two of my three grandchildren...
and a brief tribute to the third, below.

Cupid is not the only guy

who holds an arrow in his hands.

The Arrow of Light means this young man

has principles for which he stands.

The Arrow of Light is the highest award in cub scouting.
Congratulations, J!

He looks so grown up in his uniform. When did that happen?

Maybe two months ago? And yes, he is really growing up fast. Acts so old, too.

Really neat kid.

Wonderful words and good to know the standards of scouting are still held high.

I love the hats worn by your Grandkiddos! They are adorable! (the hats and the kids!) Congrats to your Grandson for his Arrow of Light! It's such a great time and now he can go into Scouts and wear that award forever on his uniform..it's the only one from cubs he can carry over. On to Eagle!

Love those shots of them together! Congrats to him on his Arrow of Light! I know what a commitment that is & it takes a lot of hard work. It was a real big deal when my son earned his.

I would like to see an Order of the Arrow officiated by Cupid. I could really enjoy that little tableau!
