Under Heaven

Jenny's up to her old tricks again with a tricky new Saturday Centus form. No prompt at all, just a rule of five––five words and five sentences to make up a 25-word offering. Thanks, pal.

Under Heaven:
A Time for Every Purpose

©2012 Susan Noyes Anderson

Life hurts; why the pain?

Must we suffer in vain?

There is purpose in life.

Ours to weather the strife.

Look up; sun follows rain.

A very stunning photo above a deep poem, (between the lines for me) as poems are to be, what the eye of the beholder, or reader feels after reading it. It's not written in a Haiku form, but it sure gives me that feeling...it touches my senses.

You are so right, Susan. Thank you for being serious this morning, I needed his read! :)

Literally, the sun just came out here right now while reading this after having three days of rain and clouds.

Reminds me of our weather yesterday. It started out with a blinding snowstorm...then the sun came out and by noon everything was melted.

You've explained life in a nutshell. What a picture you are able to paint with words.

It's been a very wet year here...and I'm not talking weather. Thanks for the simple reminder and I'm really grateful for the sun today..and now I am talking about the weather!

You managed to capture such an inspiring thought in 25 words or less, so very nicely done! Just about sums it all up.

too late to enter and win, but I like the poem. One of our favorite Christian songs is Jesus, Bring the Rain. We have to get through the trials and the rain, to get to where we need to be
