HBOs "In Treatment" is one of my favorite programs. This series is nothing short of fascinating, and the acting is first-rate, too. Viewers can look forward every Wednesday night to watching a trio of (fictional but convincing) 30-minute psychotherapy sessions, one right after the other. The encounters between each of three disparate individuals and their therapist, Paul, are intensely interesting. Of course, the fourth session features Paul and his own therapist, which offers the most intriguing interaction of all. The therapy is ongoing, so fans of this show get to see four patients treated from start to finish over the course of an entire season. Personally, I can't get enough of it.
PS. I am a guest blogger today over at Recipe Cut Outs...a blog that is well worth visiting! And not just because I have a post there!!

We are so behind in the uk re tv not reached our screens yet
Hey Sue. I watched a bit of In Treatment the first season and I, too, was blown away by it. But, in time, I lost track of it and.....? You know how it is! I'll check out the Pepsi thing, too. Your son sounds like an awesome guy!
Voted! All the projects are worth the time. It's easy! Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
I voted! I was amazed at how many things there were to vote on!
I've never heard of that tv show either. I may have to check it out.
I've not seen it as I'm all the way over here in the uk. We get NOTHING. :) Well, some stuff.
It does sound intriguing!
Don't have cable out here in the wilderness I'm afraid..
voted. and loved your wisdom on Recipe Cutouts.. wow, I'm going to copy and save and read when I'm feeling down.! ahhh it's my new happy light
I have not seen this program (no cable), but maybe we can stream the older epeisodes? My husband and I are always on the lookout for promising shows to watch together.
I have never even heard of this program, but then I don't watch network night TV. This sounds like something I would really like though. I've been known to watch therapy sessions on YOUtube, and I am glued to them. So would a new comer get much out of this...I mean just coming in after the season has begun? Or is it best I wait for the reruns to watch these people from the beginning?
I voted. It looks like a great project.
I watched the show back in the first season, and now its in 14! I missed loads, but am okay with it. Too much drama for me.
The voyeurist in me is really interested in that show. I voted for your son's thing- hopefully they'll get the facility they need
Wow, now that's a different kind of show! I bet it is good...too bad we don't get HBO! :)
I voted, too! That's a really neat idea from Pepsi.
Guest posts? Philanthropy? Your blog is reaching new heights!
I'll go vote.
Wonderful guest post! Really enjoyed it. Voted for the cause. When Katie first worked as a Social Worker, she worked with at risk youth. Any successes were rare and hard won, so I understand the need for something like this. I'll go back and vote again! Good luck!
I always love to stop by your blog. You are such a good writer and well.....by golly....you have a great name too..ha. I thought I would post a comment and then go over and vote and then check out your guest post. I do that on Tuesdays at Grocery Shop For Free....recipe posts. Anyway, I haven't seen that show so I will check it out.
Never heard of it. Must be interesting !
I voted and will vote every day that I remember to. Have you thought of putting the link on top of your right hand column on your blog page (she asked with hope etched on her face)?
I wonder if I can order that show via Netflix? Must. Check. It. Out.
I'd follow you anywhere - especially when German Sweet chocolate pie is involved. Thanks for the TV hint - I'll have to try it!
Kristin
Hope they get that gym! Is that show still on???? I thought it was off I will have to find it on disk as we don't have hbo but I love that show!
Wish we had HBO. That show sounds like something I would love to watch. There are so few shows on TV that I care about. I will try to get Dick to help me to vote. I tried to go on my own, but just got confused. Sorry.
I havent seen it ... despite the fact that i have friends who rave about it ... i need more hours in my day ...
Vote done. Afraid I've never heard of the show though. I don't think we have it this side of the Atlantic.
Sue, I have never heard of this show but I'm going to look it up.
I would love to vote for your son, but somehow that site will not let me. I've struggled with it before.
However, if they still accept text votes I will be happy to do that each day if you don't mind supplying the numbers to me!
Your son sounds wonderful.
Thanks for an interesting stop this week on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday!
A+
