Here's where it all went down.
(They probably dusted this joint for fingerprints.)
Feast your eyes on the incriminating evidence...
aka "da loot."
Sadly, my accomplices are still at large.
;)
PS. A good time was had by all. (Well, maybe the guy in the light blue shirt could have lived without it.) But what a trooper he was! The hubster fetched and carried and carried and fetched, then took us for dim sum afterward. Yep, Dave is DA MAN.
And he didn't even murmur about the budget...

Oh, wow!! Who could ask for anything more...than all those goodies and perfect helpers. Hugs
mmmm shopping, that is part of my old life too! The joy in your life just keeps on growing!
Nothing exhausts my husband like shopping. He can ride 50 miles on his bike easier than walk the length of the mall. You've got a good man there.
You've just described my ideal date: shopping with a husband to help carry the bags! :) Oh, and no mention of the budget would be the frosting on top!
Oh my goodness, look at you getting Christmas already taken care of! Awesome. And what a great man you married. No complaining, fetching and buying food. Dreamy.
Budget, schmudget! Gotta love a guy that fetches and carries like that! Give him a smooch from me for his valor.
Looks like you had a great time with a couple of great guys!
Oooh lala!
I know where Santa has been!!
I'm thinking I should have left my wish list for you! ;)
I'm assuming this was all for Christmas?? If so good job and so early too! (atleast for me it would be early) If not, good job and way to go! Fun with a dinner to top it off!
Right after my own heart...fun! Love to shop and find just the right thing for family and friends or just the house!! Haven't been for a while...you are giving me the itch! ha! My hubby is good about it too and love to go out after :-)
If everyone knew that this stuff is just a drop in the bucket. There is hardly a place for anyone to step by the time it is all over the living room floor( and that's before opening presents) It is truly obscene, but then I keep telling myself that after all there are two families there, and we all have gifts to share. Still, I do feel sorry for Dave. Surely he must complain just a tiny wee bit. Or, I guess after all these years, he just figures that is the way it is and nothing is going to change.
Having said that, I am envious that you at least got a small start on it....I, on the other hand, have done nothing, but this spurs me on to get busy to do what little I do end up doing.
But then, Sue, there is all that gift wrapping to do. Remember when we used to spend so much time doing that? Now they are lucky if they get a bit of Christmas wrap on their presents.
I think I love Dave! LaMar is the same - he will shop for the longest time and never make me feel like we're not having a good time. Now THAT'S a best friend!
Ahh- shopping, and early Christmas shopping even, how nice. What a good guy your Dave is- does he do seminars?
Good for you - It looks like you really cleaned up!
I hope that's all for you. If it's more Christmas gifts, where the heck are you going to put all of these as well as the ones you already had? EEK!
Is that Christmas already? Can I weep tears of envy?
I had a dream about you last night--that you came to visit me. I think this means I blog too much.
You are good! That much Christmas shopping already done!? You go girl!
dim sum. yum. I had the best dim sum when I lived in CA. Maybe it was the same place!?!
Talk about LOOT! I'd say you have quite a jump on things for the holidays. I saw the loot in your office already.
I finished my shopping weeks ago because I work on it from the later part of summer forward. I shop via the internet.
I've been wrapping, but sheeeeeesh, do I hate it. :)
Wow! That is a lot of loot! And not even Black Friday.
BEST. POST. EVER.
Oooh, how fun! Wish I could've been there wit ya!
