The Nativity and "Breath of Heaven"

Sometimes I get too caught up in all the doings of Christmas and need to get back to basics. This is just such a day for me, so I wanted to share The Nativity (which is well worth watching, even if you've seen it).

I love best the expression on Joseph's face as he tries to find comfort for Mary, the play of emotion across Mary's own face, and the wise men.

(Before you play the video, be sure to scroll down to my playlist and click the mute button so you can hear the haunting soundtrack.)

Totally crying right now!! Thank so much for that Sue, it was wonderful. We watched that and a girl in our ward sung that song at our ward christmas party and it was so touching, but I was so grateful to watch it again!

Just got your Christmas poem! such an incredible talent you have for expressing all your thoughts so perfectly! I love what I see on your blog. Several of my girls have blogs and it makes my life full with all of the journaling and pictures. Our house is still busy which keeps me happy. I am still teaching RSP during the day, but for the past year I've gotten up at 4:30AM to teach the sophomores in Seminary before "real" school starts. David and Stephanie with their 2 year old, Andrew, live with us while David is working on his education - And Chris was just newly sustained (Oct.12) as Bishop (that was a surprise!). Life is good! My email is cshepherd@sssd.k12.ca.us

Thank you Sue. I appreciate you sharing that more than you can imagine. Breath of Heaven is one of my all-time favorite songs. What a wonderful gift you are sharing with those of us reading your blog. Merry Christmas!
