In Which a Young Man Does Himself Proud

Tomorrow is a big day for my youngest son, who is happily graduating from the University of Arizona. He majored in molecular and cellular biology...and as I've mentioned before, his next plan is med school. He's actually on a couple of wait lists for September, but if that doesn't pan out, he'll apply again for 2012.

Needless to say, we're proud of him. A career in medicine is a looooong road, and we applaud his determination to walk down it.

In the meantime, Happy Graduation, Todd! Cancun (our treat) awaits you!!

=)

PS. We're going with him when he's ready to take the trip!

Congratulations to Todd and to you!

When I graduated from college, I got a necklace. I've worn it once. Cancun wins!

Congratulations and best wishes to Todd for a job well done! I can't wait to see where he attends med school. That picture of the beach made me crazy with desire to go somewhere tropical and sit on a beach beside the blue ocean. And what are YOU going to do there, my shade loving friend? I suggest a good book (or several) read by an open balcony door while listening to the waves, and then going into town for amazing food when the sun cools down. And oooooh, the food is SOOO good!

So is he going to walk or wait until he is done with medical school?

I bet it is a reward day when your children accomplish something great! Happy Day!

Sue I am so very excited and happy for all of you especially Todd for seeking a career in medicine.
You have to be over the moon happy for him and proud too. As you should be.
Knowing you the way I have gotten to know you I know that Todd will exceed in anything he does in life.
Look at his mother and grandmother Darlene. I love them both.
Your PS about going on the trip with him is priceless. Love it and you

I'm sure that Todd will be very happy with his graduation gift. Fun too, that you will be going along. I'm a bit like Karen in my thoughts. I know you will get a lot of reading done and also blogging, because the beach and the sun will be out for you. But, I've heard the nights are absolutely gorgeous there. It is kind of a desert though, rather than lots of greenery, isn't it? I think that's what Nancy and Charles told me. I would probably love it. Where else can you get the desert and the ocean in one place?

Whew! Congrats to him. And NM has a great Med school...fyi!

Congratulations! What an amazing accomplishment!

I like your raised vegetable beds. I need to do something like that here. I'd love to know more about them.

Just wish we could be there for the graduation. I am so darned proud of that kid, I can hardly stand it. Am so praying that he won't have to wait another whole year before med school though. I would love to see him go to Irvine.

I'm so glad we'll get to be seeing him soon, to say nothing about the rest of you. It won't be long now. I can't believe how much of May is already gone.
