Humble yourself as a little child
and crawl into the nest.
With barren head and unshod feet
draw peace into your breast.
Come reverently, and shed your burden
like a pair of shoes.
Leave sin and sorrow to the One
who nurtures and renews.
Bow deeply, then arise on wings
of grace and glory born.
Remember Him. Sing sweet the song
of Resurrection Morn.

Absolutely beautiful. Your talent is amazing.
Happy Birthday Dave! Beautiful poem and a really cool pic to go with it. Very fitting for this season.
smiles...you nailed this sue...love the opening the humbly coming...really a perfect voice through out...
lovely. as always.
Lovely poem, and I read some of your earlier posts too. Like the one about finding the roll of money, and the end of pbjs.
I am your new follower.
Perfect poem for a lovely week of remembering and gratitude.
Beautiful Sue - just beautiful. I may have a new favorite here!
Just lovely! You amaze me and I loved this one.

This is beautiful, Sue! What a marvelous birthday gift! :)
Perfect for Easter week Sue!
That picture is pretty neat.
Oh, just lovely, and I really like the invocation.
"Humble yourself as a little child
and crawl into the nest."
How pure is that.
PS I share the same birthday as Dave :)
Awwww, very sweet! Happy B'day Dave
you are such a talented writer
That really gave me goosebumps. Almost cried too.
Another wonderful piece of poetry, Sue. It is beautiful and I will treasure this .
Also Happy B/D to Dave. I know he will get our late card, but in case you haven't told him, mention that we were thinking about him all day. I know he doesn't read you post. Unlike Dick, who reads everything I write. Of course I am not as prolific as you are, or he might quit reading my stuff too.
I'm also happy to read that I am not the only one that thinks your poetry is amazing.
Absolutely lovely, Sue! And thank you for turning the focus from eggs, bunnies and candy back to where it belongs. XO
Hope Dave had a splendid birthday. Did you guys celebrate it in Maui, or was that trip just for your son's graduation? Has Todd heard anything about his test? How goes the show prep for Sunday?
Wonderful poem, like a nice renovation.
beautiful thanks so much for sharing x
Lovely. Very nice slant rhyme. K.
Thank you. Just thank you
Beautiful. The music enhanced the effect of your words so wonderfully well.
Just what I needed today. Sometimes life is just hard. Right?
I feel this should be sung by a choir! Lovely poem.
amazing, how wonderful our thoughts reflect during this time
So often, after reading one of your poems I have no words. I feel so awkward - and awed - and grateful that you've shared your gift.
What you've done from a picture - beautiful.
'Remember Him. Sing sweet the song
of Resurrection Morn'
The plea for Providence's help and blessings can never see an end. Beautiful verse, Sue!
Thanks for your kind visits Ma'am!

Beautiful!
So sweet...we as chicks should gather in the Hen's next and allow ourselves to be taken under wing.
Beautiful thoughts this week.
I love this one! I love the warmth and gift of the atonement!
Very nicely done, and a Happy Easter to you!
Oh Sue this is lovely, good for us all to keep in mind. Thank you.
