Maui Wows Me

Guess where I am.

Do you like the view out my kitchen window?

How about the walkway down to the beach?

You can swim and snorkel down there.

With turtles. Sea turtles. Lots of 'em.

Here's what the living room view looks like.

And this...

Whales breach out there at sunset. Dolphins cavort.

Every day.

It's the next best thing to paradise.

Our little Maui condo rental.

*sigh*

We are pretty much in heaven!

=)

I'm so happy that things are working out so well for you. If only you could really get out in the daytime and truly enjoy the beach. I know you will make good use of the evenings though, and hopefully will be able to stroll along the beach and maybe even go for a swim. We loved swimming at the beach when we went to Maui on our honeymoon almost 40 years ago. Are you having nice weather? They say it is beautiful all year long in Maui and I hope "they" are right. We were there in August, so was quite a bit longer into summer, but seems to me that spring should be really nice too. We stayed at the Sheraton Maui and had our own little cottage just steps from the beach. I wish that we could go back there for our 40th anniversary. We only spent five days there too.

Hope you are all getting some wonderful rest. I know that Todd needs it about now. Unfortunately those five days are going to go very fast, so make the most of them.

I haven't been to Hawaii since I was a little kid (small enough to swing on the vines), but I still remember how much I loved it. It sounds like you're having a great time! :o)

What a wonderful place to be! Maui is a place I'd love to visit - it's not too bad a flight from here. The 'soundtrack' to our post was very evocative!
