The Stuff that Dreams are Made of...

I couldn't let 2010 go without sharing one last bit of holiday magic.

We should all don matching pajamas on Christmas Eve
and watch visions of sugarplums dance in our heads!

∞§∞

Maybe we could even hang on to those joyful visions all year long.

Love that quote. That is why one of my goals in the next year is to laugh and love more. I don't want to act old.

Your 3 little sweethearts under the tree is what it's all about!

Matching pj's: quite possibly the best thing in life! Your grandchildren (I know I always say this--but I MEAN it) could be in a magazine--they are beautiful.
Also, I love your ending quote. I observed this first-hand when I watched a 75 year old man complete a triathalon (one of the toughest in the country) that my husband was competing in. As he crossed the finish line, they announced his name and age and the crowd erupted in cheers. It is a moment in my life I hold dear.

You always make me smile, my friend.
And I feel a little like this this year--wanting all back under my wing in their jammies.
Sigh.

Growing up I missed out on the pj tradition. Something I am not about to let my kiddos do. I love wrapping them up in their cozy pjs and seeing them glow beneath the haze of Christmas excitement. So precious. So perfect.

My family in Chicago always has our Christmas get together the weekend before Christmas. One year we all wore Christmas PJs...kiddos and adults! It was very comfy and fun! What great pics of those cuties under the tree!

Darling P J's. Wish I could have been there in mine. I love all the Christmas pictures of the g'kids. They are just such great subjects. I could watch them all day long.........they do keep me entertained and I missed seeing and being with them this year. Christmas is for children, and I missed them this last year.

Gosh I hope you had some jammies just like theirs... it's a great picture in my head! I love that quote and it's so true - losing enthusiasm for life DOES wrinkle the soul! (Must be why 99 year old grandma always seems so young!)
