His destination is Georgetown University, where he will interview on Friday for a spot in their med school. (My new mantra is "No delays, no cancellations, and plenty of time to make connections.")
Any prayers and positive thoughts you'd like to send our way for a safe, timely arrival and a terrific interview would be much appreciated!

As prayers go up blessings come down
Good luck to your son. How exciting! I will keep him in my prayers, both for safe travel and a great interview. Kat
Hope the weather co-operates, other than that, I'm sure he'll nail the interview! Prayer is with him!
Much luck for your baby today! I'm sure he'll do great. I love DC and what a great place to visit him and have many wonderful "blog worthy" moments in the future! We need good Docs so hopefully all will go great for him.
I will be praying. The weather has been so bad lately. Hope the interview goes well too.
Much luck to your son.
How exciting! Will hold good thoughts for your boy!
That's quiet a long way ! In 1971 we travelled with my American aunt and uncle from Madison/Wiscosin,where they lived to Yellowstone park, Mount Rushmore, Las Vegas, etc back to Madison in total 6000 km, lol ! Of course in July without an airconditionned car, those were times !
Good luck to your son !
Oh boy. I will definitely be well wishing him the whole way there. As if its not hard enough having to be interviewed...he has to endure the winter travel issues. Tell him to keep his chin up...the blog ladies are on his side!!
You got it Sue.
I shall keep eveything crossed for him - how exciting....
How exciting. Sending prayers for a smooth flight and a successful ending to the trip.
You must be so proud of him. He sounds like a gem, Sue.

Hi Sue! Bet of luck to your son! Being a doctor is a blessed thing. My dad was one and even though he is retired, he continues to help those in need. Following you from Alphabet thursday and thanks for your visit last week to a moderate life! All the best! Alex

I know he will do well on the interview. I just hope he will make it there with no problems. We have prayed for him today and I keep praying almost constantly. He is such a great guy and we are so proud of him. Sure would be nice to know, however, just where he will be going to school this fall, wouldn't it?
Wishing him the very best...said prayers for his flight to go smoothly and all to work out for him. Hugs
What a beautiful place to go visit and live. Best of luck to him. If they've asked him to come that's a great compliment. They just don't ask everyone.
Oh, certainly hoping for the best of luck on his trip!
Teresa

Prayers going out for your son! He will be in our neck of the woods. We're about 30 minutes away from DC! Wishing him all of the best and safe travels.
Hope the flight went well for your son. Also that his interview goes well, too!
Prayers that all goes well and that he is given his opportunity!
I'm too late to offer much more than 'I hope it went well for him'!
Now it's Sunday, and I hope all went well and smoothly for him.
I remember when my brother was interviewing for med schools. Such a stressful time. I wish him luck!
