V Is for Victory! (Or the pursuit of it...)

V is for victory. (Or, at least, the pursuit of it...)

Seeing my 3 sons and their dad play hoops makes me a winner.

Especially when they come home with no injuries...

Looking for something, guys?

Tonight they'll be looking for a LAKERS victory!
(And this spousal blackmail picture? Icing on the cake, baby!)

Great pictures. It warms my heart to see fathers and sons spending fun time together. Yes, you are a winner, so are they. Hugs

Ha! It seems like every time my husband goes and plays a sport with the guys he comes home hurt. So, I love it when he has fun and doesn't get hurt too.
Did they win...or is it tonight?

Oh Sue, wonderful pictures! And what a bunch of great-looking guys. You have an awesome family!

The game is tonight. And if the Lakers lose, I just might go live with some non-Laker fanatics until the grief on the home front passes...

As for the men in my family and their penchant for not just watching but playing basketball..,I, too, love it when none of them gets hurt!

=)

Of course I love to see the game being played in backyards all over the country. It gives me fodder for telling Michael it will never really be over.
Yes, and GO Lakers!

How fun! Father son time is so important, even when the sons are fathers themselves. Good quality time there.

That looks like great fun. It's brilliant that they can enjoy time together!

Good lucky guys, one goofy photo, action...

GO LAKERS!! I may not be as excited as true fans, but I do love how love of the game unites fathers and sons. It's a good thing to see. If the Lakers lose tonight, you and I can go somewhere together, with our girls. My son Scott (soon to be married Scott) is marrying into a family of Celtics fans. Good times.

Looks like so much fun! What a neat family!

As usual Heather got some great shots. So glad you had her go back to get these. I do wish Amy's comment were true. Unfortunately only one son is a father, still I have hopes one day. I just hope it happens before I die. Ha!

If the Lakers don't win, it will be sad indeed. I wouldn't want to be around your house if they dob't. I don't think I have the nerve to watch the game. It would put me on edge too much.

Dear Sue,
Thank you for visitng and commenting on my blogpost, 'V as in Viking'. I seem to have been able to get several other 'closet-Swedes' and other 'closet-Scandinavians' to confess their roots! What fun!

Thank you for telling me about your grandparents and your husband's Norwegian grandparents! (I adore the Norwegians!)

Great choice of V-word--Victory!

Let's keep in touch!

Best wishes
Anna
