do you like the traveling part? i like the being there part, but not the getting there part. the getting there part is definitely more of a dread now. in fact, i told sean no trips until after the baby is born and even then i may not comply.
It's definitely true that the "getting there" can be a pain, but I'd rather fly than drive when I'm going by myself. I get kind of punchy and spaced out after a few hours driving.
With kids, of course, it's much more challenging to fly. And there's so much paraphernalia you have to pack along with you!
Have a good time. This weekend of scrapping my senior daughter pages from childhood, brought some sad feelings that this part of life is over, and I'm in no rush, but I think I could be a pretty good grandma! Make sure to get an XL dose of spoilage!!
