Ode to a Tree

Still feeling pretty crummy, but I thought I'd grab a few kleenex, savor a cough drop (ugh), and check in on the Centus. Glad I did, too! This Christmas tree is definitely getting me in the mood...not necessarily for Christmas...but still! ;) Jenny has given us 50 words to respond to the following picture prompt:

Mama Mia, what a tree-a
It should grace a pizzeria

Pepperoni…provolone
Maybe even some bologna

Visions dancing in my head
Sweet tomatoes…orange, red

Peppers, please…not sugarplums
(Afterwards, break out the Tums)

Great job! I just couldn't leave out the candies though...surely there was chocolate somewhere on the backside of that tree!

That tree - I'm just imagining the odd perfume coming from it!

I caught your cold. Perhaps it's natures way of getting us to slow down.

Cute poem for such an ugly tree!

Oh Sue! I'm so sorry you had the Christmas crud this year, too!

What a fabulous poem, though!

Although doesn't that kind of food make you cringe when you're not feeling good.

I can manage peanut butter toast and tea when I feel like that!

I hope you're feeling better, sweet girl!
