Still feeling pretty crummy, but I thought I'd grab a few kleenex, savor a cough drop (ugh), and check in on the Centus. Glad I did, too! This Christmas tree is definitely getting me in the mood...not necessarily for Christmas...but still! ;) Jenny has given us 50 words to respond to the following picture prompt:
Mama Mia, what a tree-a
It should grace a pizzeria
Pepperoni…provolone
Maybe even some bologna
Visions dancing in my head
Sweet tomatoes…orange, red
Peppers, please…not sugarplums
(Afterwards, break out the Tums)

Great! I get heartburn every time I see this meat tree!
Great job! I just couldn't leave out the candies though...surely there was chocolate somewhere on the backside of that tree!
That tree - I'm just imagining the odd perfume coming from it!
My favorite so far! Hope you feel better soon:@)
Awesome verse as always....the food decorator must be simpering in pleasure at this .
That was a really cute verse! Loved it!

Feel better :) Not sure eating this tree would help much! Great verse!
Maybe you could include some fa la la la la fava beans too? How cute! Well I guess you can tell who isn't the poetic one here! :)~Ames

Great poem for someone that's not feeling well. Hope your well soon.
Yikes! I'm thinking that doesn't smell like pine. Pretty dang clever.
I turned off the sound so I didn't actually hear what music you picked by I had no trouble reading it to Abba's Mama Mia...hehehe...hope you feel 100% soon!
oh my gosh. I just squirted milk out of my nose. Loved it.
Anyone who can be so clever while being sick with a cold gets a big gold star!! Great take on the prompt, Sue!!
Priceless, I actually liked this ode to Jenny's meat tree...
I caught your cold. Perhaps it's natures way of getting us to slow down.
Cute poem for such an ugly tree!

LOL! Very clever!
And get to feeling better!
Oh Sue! I'm so sorry you had the Christmas crud this year, too!
What a fabulous poem, though!
Although doesn't that kind of food make you cringe when you're not feeling good.
I can manage peanut butter toast and tea when I feel like that!
I hope you're feeling better, sweet girl!
