Just Beau-TREE-ful!

Yesterday, I was driving all over creation with innumerable errands to run, and I didn't mind doing them one bit. It was a gorgeous morning. The rain had moved on to another thirsty place, leaving only a few white, fluffy clouds and a clear horizon. The sky was blue as my grandchildren's eyes, the air apple crisp, and the trees a hundred shades of green. Over and over, I was struck by the incredible beauty that surrounds me, and I felt blessed and grateful to live in a place so beautiful that I sometimes catch my breath just going to the post office. And again on the way to the cleaners. To say nothing of the library, where our heritage orchard is located.

Nothing lifts my spirits more than looking at a tree and following its branches upward. My eyes always take my heart with them. Care to join me?

I aLSO AM such a 'succor' for trees! No wonder talented people write poems, essays and tributes to them! My son wrote a parable about a peach tree growing in our garden one year for a school assignment. It was beautiful, and is one of my treasures :)

That last tree with all of the moss was amazing! I love trees too, especially ones that are good climbing trees. I'm again surrounded by snow and envy your lovely spring-ness. If you have any pull please send some of it my way!

My favorite is to watch the trees bud out in the spring. I spend hours every week walking around my yard watching.

I love trees too. Love the Redwood Forest off of Hwy 84, and Up here in WASHINGTON, wowie zowie, loads of trees. And yes all blooming right now. And EVOO is extra virgin olive oil, (phrase coined by Rachael Ray)

I LOVE trees too and I'm always amazed at them when I come west. We still have no green to speak of. Today is the first day I've seen full ground not covered with snow in weeks! Our trees aren't so lovely. I LOVE that heritage orchard and the ferns growing on the tree at the park are just beautiful!

In my early childhood my favorite tree was a majestic old apple tree in our next door neighbor's front yard. I used to take a salt shaker and a book (ofter all my chores were done} and climb that tree to my favorite comfortable branch where I could rest my back against the trunk and read for the whole afternoon, stopping once in a while to salt a green apple and eat it with relish. And no, I never did get a tummy ache.

Now that we live in Palm Desert, I really love to look at all the palm trees, especially when we have so many beautiful mountains surrounding us in this beautiful valley that in the winter are often capped, or sometimes covered in snow. The palm trees against this backdrop, with the sun shining brilliantly make a most unusual and breathtaking picture.

The trees in your part of California are truly gorgeous. I enjoyed looking at your neat pictures!

WOW! Those ARE beautiful trees! You would love the trees here in PR, some have the roots growing on the outside of tree :)
