The Cat's Meow

Here's the thing about this little guy...
He thinks he's the cat's meow.

grandma thinks so too

Psssst. If my little grandson is the cat's meow, this article is the cat's whiskers:

Meridian Magazine, Maurine Jensen Proctor, A Divine Homesickness.

What a wonderful story! I love stories that remind us of the purpose each one of us has, and if we are brave and stay the course, the rewards and knowledge gained are great.

Yes! Cat's Meow for certain :) And I love reading MJP, she's wonderful. I love the analogy of the stones - our efforts really blossom when we include Heavenly Father and let him work the miracles.

I have long heard about the congregations in Ghana that were meeting on their own, ready for baptism when the missionaries came to their country, but I never read how it all came about. That story was so interesting and it makes one feel that they should never give up. Sometimes we have overwhelming feelings that we want to give up on whatever we happen to be struggling with. A story like this should make a person listen and relate to what happened to that young missionary in the Netherlands. I'm so glad to read this story and I almost missed it because I got behind on reading your blog the last few days. I have been busy beyond belief. I think that after today I will be able to take it a little easier. I have the last of my two teeth pulled in about an hour. Then this afternoon we are going to a movie with our friends, Verna and Jim, after which they are coming back here for dinner. Tomorrow I think I won't do a darned thing. Glad I went back to read what I had missed. I am still crying, just a bit. The picture of Bryce really cheered me up though and I think I am going to have Dick print me a copy of this one for my wall. Help!! I am running out of wall space. What to do, what to do????
