Happiness Is a Thoughtful Husband

It might not be very glamorous, but this new shower head means the world to me. A couple of weeks ago, I was wishing out loud for the kind of shower where I could take the sprayer in hand and keep my hair from getting wet. (As a short person, this is difficult with the type that just rains down water willy-nilly on you from above.)

Sooooo...yesterday, without even telling me, my husband installed the perfect shower head for me! (I should add that he was inordinately fond of our old one, which was not only the perfect height for him but also looked considerably better.)

What a great surprise!! I don't need to tell you that the hubs just scored a few extra points with his lovely wife.

We have that shower head in one of our bathrooms and LOVE it. Yeah for hubbies that not only know, but do.

Points for thoughfulness, EXTRA points for being able to install it himself! :)

Hand held shower heads are the best! I am always recommending them to my therapy patients!

I love handhelds...they make all the difference in the world. We have no fixed heads in our house. Makes keeping the shower clean soooo much easier too...

ha...the simple things in life really do matter!! ;)

What a good guy!! I would love a hand held shower head to make cleaning the shower easier and me too I guess! LOL

We have one just like that and I love it. It's great for cleaning the shower. Also, sometimes all I want to do in the middle of a hot summer day is wash my feet...and I can easily just stick them in the shower and use that hand tool.

My favorite part of this story is that he did it just listening to you, not because you asked him. That makes it even better, somehow.

Dave is such a lovely man. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with him, but it doesn't take long to recognize a treasure when you see one. And he is a treasure. He's a lucky man, and you're a lucky girl!

The hubs some points indeed! :)

We used to have a shower head just like that which I LOVED and some how we changed it to a new one that doesn't move. I think the one we had like yours would be perfect for the girls too who are just learning to shower (rather than a bath). This gives me the idea to change ours back!

That is how you tell you got a good one!!

I completely understand this! My hubs is 6'6" & I am 5'4"- so the shower head location is always an issue. We would be lost without the handheld one. How nice of your hubs!

At 5'1" I completely understand your point!

Ahhh, That is so sweet. I would love one of those but we have such low water pressure, I don't think it would do much good anyway.

Enjoy!!
