Believe it or not, I'm headed out for another wedding, but I'm determined to turn out a Centus before we leave. Saturdays have been pretty crazy lately. (So have Jenny's prompts, by the way.) This one is the same photo from a different viewpoint––namely, the character circled in pink. Oh, joy. 100 words

Smells Like Team Spirit
©2011 Susan Noyes Anderson
Here she was, pushed to the edge of the circle again...and Polly the same. These guys were jerks. Freakin' idiots. Didn't they realize they'd lose the game without their two best strikers? They'd lose every game, and it'd serve 'em right. All these *you-know-what* for brains boys cared about were dumb stunts like dyeing their hair red. Well, she'd even gone along with that chunk of lameness. Polly, too. But they were still on the outside looking in, and it stunk up the field like dead fish.
Team spirit. Smelly fish guts. One. And. The. Same.
(Not exactly Nirvana.)

Brava, Sue. This is perfect!!
hahhhaa....so cute.
This is so YOU, Sue. You always turn Saturday Centus on its ear!
Smelly fish guts, indeed.
Namaste..........cj
Hahahaha ! Clever you Sue....that was so funny...loved it !
go Sue!! I think it's good for you to write under pressure!! I love it!!
So clever.
Stinky fish and all.
Ha. And boys are so like that sometimes. Like playing volleyball with guys. Annoying.
I have to have our niece read this. She is a dynamite soccer player and always has been. Now that she's a champ in H.S. and in the newspaper all the time everyone knows her skills but when she was the age in your photo...Smelly fish guts is right! But then...she just showed them. She was being teased by some HS guys for asking them if she could play in a 3 on 3 game of pick up with them. She looked at her dad and he nodded to give it all she had. That 10-yr-old left those meanies standing there with their mouths hanging open and she's never looked back! Girl Power!
Weddings and weddings and weddings...how I remember them all! :-) See you tonight!
I love it, Sue! You always know how to rock the Saturday Centus! :)
What a vision.... stinky fish and all....! I'm kind of thinking I should look up what you all did last week, since I was out of town I missed it...but I think I played along with this version too....without having read it last week's centus!
Fun fun fun. I don't know how the Centus can get any crazier. That gal can think up the darndest things, can't she? You always come out on top though, and today was no exception.
What? Another wedding? It must keep you busy shopping for wedding gifts. The singles ward seems to be doing very well in that direction. I'm assuming that it was one of Dave's guys (or gals, or both) I think I think Ryan ought to go to Dave's ward. Whatever is going on there seems to be catching.
smiles...hope you had fun at the wedding....this was a hoot to read...but what are you trying to say about boys...smiles.
I guess this just proves that you can be "one" for many different reasons. ;)
I could almost believe this was a kid's narrative. Very good!
This was an interesting one. Love it; as usual.
Blessings to you and have a fun week end.
Wow! Great take on the picture!
I love it!
Great use of the prompt. Some Saturday when I'm not cleaning my house or chasing my grandkids around, I am going to try hooking up to Sat. Census....
This was such a sweet story, Sue! Loved the smelly fish guts! Excellent as always!
Bravo! This was fabulous!
I love how you drew both little girls into the post!
What a wickedly wonderful imagination you have!
