Daily readers may have noticed I was MIA on Wednesday.
I spent time with a very dear friend, talking to our hearts' content.
Here's where we whiled away the hours.
And later, here.
The thing is, I can tell Linda anything.
Not only because I trust her not to share it.
But because I trust her to understand it.
Such a friend is a very good thing to have.
=)

A friend like that is priceless!
I am glad you have a friend like that. So do I and I count it one of my greatest blessings.
Those friends are the best. Especially over cheesecake
Oh, and the Cheesecake Factory is such a perfect place to be with a good friend! Good food, good conversation - perfect combination!
Friends like that don't come along very often. For that reason, they are counted among life's treasures. What a wonderful way to spend the day!
yes, friends and cheesecake can't be beat!
Good friends are truly the rich treasures of life.
I'm so happy ya'll had a good time together.
God bless and have a wonderful weekend!!! :o)
A friend like that is priceless indeed. I did miss you and was about ready to call you to see what was up but felt that if it was anything important, you would have called me. Did you go all the way to Sacramento? I'm sure you had a wonderful time just visiting. Sometimes just time together can be ever so worth whatever effort one has to put out.
I am so fortunate that I have two special friends like that. Verna and Lee are always there for me and I for them. We are so blessed to live in a ward where we have a wonderful extended group of friends and we do have fun getting together. The husbands are all such good friends too. We are so happy that we moved to Palm Desert. It is so right for us here!
Too bad Linda had to move. She has certainly had her trials, and I am so glad that you are there for her, even though you don't live close by anymore. I hope you will stay in close contact with her. My best friend, Rita, from High School lives in Oceanside and I have only seen her about twice in about five or six years. We used to talk on the phone, then we stopped doing that. Oceanside isn't so very far away either. It's just too bad that it is so easy to lose track of our precious old friends. You are so good to keep in touch with all of your good friends who have moved away.
My friend Donna (Starkey Hollow) is that kind of friend. We can talk about anything for very long periods of time..once we drove the 6hrs to Chicago together and talked the whole way non-stop...my voice was raspy by the time we arrived! But all our problems and the world's problems were solved..until the ride home!
Friendship like this is without compare!
lucky you!! I miss my CA friends... I'm making new ones here, but it's not the same and it takes time.
Just like me and my Taxi ;-) ...and we go for cheesecake often ;)
nice....friends like that are hard to come by...love and appreciate her...glad you had fun!
That is wonderful. So glad you were able to do that.
Thank you for visiting my blog! I read you Autumn posts and I LOVE you writing! I am a pre-k teacher and I often talk in rhymes so I truly enjoyed your posts. I also read your friend post, I have 2 friends that are like yours, one I went to college with, the other I was my son's first grade teacher, he is now 21, and we have been friends ever since. Have a wonderful weekend.
What a treat! So glad you had that day.:)
what a wonderful thing to have and a wonderful memory to keep!
It's so nice to have good friends you can trust. So special.
Enjoy your week!
Blessings,
Marcia
A friend like that is to be treasured! The best friends are gifts from above and I cherish each and every that I have.
I am so happy you have a friend you can confide in and who understands you. If she's anything like you (which it sounds like) I am sure I would love her!
