One last apple on your apple tree...
Will you cling to it or set it free?
What are you doing with time's swift sands?
How will you hold them in your hands?
Givers know a secret: When life is through...
The fruit you bear and give away comes back to you.

Thanks for the link Sue!
That poem made me think for a while- I like those kind Sue. And those pictures made me think of all the reasons I love fall.
Thanks for the photos, Carrie!
=)
Certainly true...and it usually comes back ten fold.
beautiful poem - saw your article and just KNEW it was you even before your picture! fun to say I know your style!!
Always love your poems, Sue. Thank you. :)
Always love the inspiration I find on your blog Sue!
I want apple crisp now.
Oh, wait, I was supposed to get something else out of the post.
Seriously, thanks for the words of wisdom.
It's all about service isn't it? It sure works for me. I love how we have so many friends here and whenever one of us needs help, there are many we can call on who are more than willing. What's more, we really do enjoy doing things for other people!
Very poignant! My mother and grandmother were the best example of service to others that I will ever have. They both were always doing things for others and that was their life's mission. What a good message...thanks for this post!!
So sweet. I need to bear more fruit.
When I saw bearing fruit I thought you were going to talk about having babies. HA!
And that's why I love your blog - it's fun, but it also makes you soul search a bit. Very thoughty - I liked it.
Love it! Both the words and the pictures.
(PS...with regards to Hubs, I don't end up writing it. I usually need about 5 minutes. Then I am calmed down enough to stop yacking and just sign. Then all is well :))
Truer words have never been written, Sue! And you paired the photos with your poetry perfectly!
Amen.
Wonderful poetry...and true words.
Blessings & Aloha!
It think similiar thoughts whenever I see the last lingering fruit on our fruit trees - so many lessons to be learned from the garden.
Kristin
