Me and My Shadow...

Sue-gofer

Annika Sorenstam - golfer

Myheritage.com insists that this lovely lady is my celebrity look-alike. She's a championship golfer, and I'm a champion gofer, or errand-runner. Well, today I am, at any rate. Other days...not so much.

Sadly, my husband is sick as a dog (okay, maybe just a puppy), having succumbed to the mysterious coughing malady from our beach trip. So far, I remain unscathed, but that could change at any moment. Which is why I'm gonna try to get all the errands I've been postponing taken care of today. And a few of Dave's, too!

In the meantime, you may want to feast your eyes on this photo of me out on the town:

Oh, wait a minute...I think that might be Annika. Honestly, it's next to impossible to tell the difference, but that handbag just isn't my style.

See what I mean?

And that's my small one.

Amazing what a little makeup and hair color will do, huh? Personally, I like your purse much better, being an afficionado of large bags.
Do yourself a favor: start drinking Emergen-C 3 times a day combined with large quantities of Vitamin D. (This advice from my doctor!) I've had it stave off illness more than once.

So sorry everyone is sick. And so funny that is your look alike. I went to see who mine was and ot of the 7, there were two girls. I guess I look like a man. :)

I couldn't leave my house with a bag that small, that's for sure;-)

Same here, Amy. Only two women for me. I guess we are just manly.

I'm a fan of the minimalist bag/purse thing, but your 'small bag' is very cute! I hope Dave gets better soon, and that you don't catch it.

You did quite well with your celebrity look alike...I am quite sure they would not be able to match me to one. LOL Sorry your hubby is sick, pray he is well soon and that you do not get sick. Hugs

Too cute!
I haven't ever done the celebrity look-a-like test because I'm afraid of what they'll come up with!

Of course, being your mother, I can't see any resemblance at all between you and Annika. But that's neither here nor there.

As for Dave's being sick....that is so sad. You didn't say whether he had to stay home from work, but I hope that he had the good sense to do this. If so, he will just get that more behind too. Darn, it just seems like that company should have someone that Dave could train to do his work so it would't just pile up waiting for him until his return, or even worse, when they have to call him and he has to work during his vacation. That is not much of a vacation at all when they do that and if I remember they pratically always do that.

I surely do hope you don't come down with it too. But, it's good that you are doing errands. Dick has been doing that the last couple of days.

Wow, I just read this and it is so disorganized that I almost decided not to send it, but oh well, what the heck.

Ooh-la-la! I love your dress! ;)

I did the Myheritage.com look-alike thing once too (years ago) and I can't remember who it said was my celeb look-alike. I do remember thinking, "Really?" and not "Really?" in a good way!
I hope your husband feels better soon and that you don't get the cough too.

Oh I wonder what that coughing malady is all about. Tell him to cover the bottoms of his feet with Vicks and then put white cotton socks on...do this right before bed and it will keep him from coughing in his sleep. It works for me anyway.

I have done that before, but I have forgotten who I "look" like. Haha. It's fun though.

The only difference I could see in the pictures was the plunging neck line. I was pretty sure you wouldn't be wearing that. Other than, that I think it looks just like you!!

And sorry your husband is sick. A cough seems to be going around in our neighborhood as well and seems to last about a week. Hopefully he will get better before that and no one else will also get sick.
