Birthday Near Halloween? Pretty Keen!

Today is my eldest son's birthday.

We always gave him Halloween birthday parties.

With costumes and everything.

Here he is now, pretending to be a cowboy.

But this is his favorite part to play.

Being a great dad.

    My Dads birthday is on Halloween. He has always had to share that night with trick or treating. I guess for a Dad that is okay. Hey...who doesn't want tons of candy for their birthday!

    Happy Birthday to Matt! I always thought it would be so fun to have an October bday...none of my kiddos were born in Oct but I do have one Grand who has an Oct.1st. That's as close as I come to that! I love the fun and silliness of Halloween and I'm sure his birthdays were a treat for him as a little kiddo..maybe even now as a grown up kiddo! Hope his day is great!

    I would have loved going to the birthday celebration Sunday, but Dick had to be at the church all day. Bet they had a great time though.

    We have a birthday this week too!! My baby is turning 18!! I can't believe she is so old. My goodness!! Time goes so quickly.

    But her party should be fun--halloween/birthday. Or is that hallowbirth or birthoween? :-)
