I love the sheer exuberance children have at the beach. I can remember mine pretending not to hear me when I called them in for lunch, or time to go. They all loved it there and Katie has always been my water baby.
Love seeing the stair step picture. That ought to be blown up and framed! Someday after they are all grown, the stair step may be going in the other direction. It'll be interesting won't it?
I have not been to the ocean in forever. I was like the pics you've shown of your sweet grandkiddos. The shear excitement and the leaping..yes, I remember it well! Such pretty pics I just want to smell the salt water and feel the foam...sigh..
Me too!! I miss the ocean, although now I'm only 5 or 6 hours away from the nearest beach instead of 12!
ReplyDeleteNow that is certainly something that makes me beyond happy! So fun!

ReplyDeleteOh I miss the ocean! And in the first picture, the waves look like so much fun--all frothy and foamy breaking on the sand. Happiness indeed!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful shots...love the feeling about them! And I love the one of your husband and grandson up above, too! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI am getting to the point where I'm ready to get on a plane just to see the ocean. It's been too long.
ReplyDeleteI love where I live, but golly, to live by the ocean?
Sigh.
