  2. I'm doing it too. Keep working, and think of all of us out there pulling for each other.
    Go Sue (and Vicki)!!!

  3. Why is change so difficult to maintain? This is my struggle right now. Good luck, Sue!

  11. Count me in! LaMar and I have gotten good at walking - it's the one thing I can do where I don't hurt myself. And, sometimes if I feel inflammation coming on, by the time we've finished walking briskly and pumping our arms, it's gone away. I'm certain that upping my breathing, circulation, etc. has a lot to do with my RA improving. Now if only I could work hard at it EVERY night.

  12. I loved your poem about walking to the classics. How did I miss that? I don't think I was even reading your blog at that time. Anyway, I need to get back to my treadmill too. I need to get back just a little more energy though. Maybe next week I can start in earnest. I still have this six pound gain with the prednisone to lose!!! Thanks for this, I needed to get inspired.

  13. I just read a fabulous article about walking- and if you walk 2.5 mph as your everyday get-around-town-pace, you'll live longer. How's that for freaking spectacular?!?

  19. I'm glad you're walking. I keep talking to my dad about it, and he agrees that he needs to. Maybe I need to set a time and go with him a few days a week to get him started, or is that being too pushy? He's 74.
