Off we go again...not to Mt. Rushmore, to Yosemite.
Yep, we've got beautiful weather in Nor Cal, but thunderstorms nixed our trip to the Dakotas.
So we decided to take off for the most beautiful place on earth.
And the drive was beautiful too, right up until...
We blew out a tire.
AAA didn't let that stop us...Soon we were on our way again.
And the scenery continued to be gorgeous.
The entrance to the park was a welcome sight.
And the ranger was pretty welcoming, too.
Off to find the Ahwahnee Hotel.
And a friend or two along the way.
Well, lookie here...

How 'bout a little walk before dinner?
Maybe to Lower Yosemite Falls?
Not a bad lookin' spot, is it?
El Capitan's not too shabby, either.
Nor is the rest of the scenery as we make our way back...
to dinner at the Ahwahnee.
I had the rib-eye. And chocolate decadence.
Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

love it, so many memories in yosemite! we used to camp there quite a bit when i was in middle school. i loved all of the hikes we went on. and the peanut butter m&m's i always had in my pocket for them;-)

You lucky girl. Looks like a nice vacation. You even survived the flat tire. Yosemite never looked better.
