To Todd
on the occasion of your second-to-last med school interview
Today, take with you all the love and luck that you can carry.
Focus on what you want and just "look up" when things get scary.
Remind yourself that being there at all is quite a coup.
(You're interviewing them just like they're interviewing you.)
Enjoy the moment...Days like these are few and far between.
Relax and show them who you are; you'll be the best they've seen!

What a sweet and loving poem you have written for Todd. Thinking of you all and still sending up prayers for Todd. Hugs
Oh you are just the best Mom ever! Go Todd! Team Todd here on the blog!!
Best of luck to your son! You should be very proud of his hard work and accomplishments!
Way to show your baby boy some real love. I can see how proud you are of him. It's a long road, isn't it? And each one's road is slightly different. But what an amazing journey it is. Go Todd. You ROCK!!!
oh, and PS...love the photo. He sure is looking a lot like his dad these days.
Good luck to all! What he is doing is great! My BIL will be doing that in one year.
Loved this! So supportive and inspiring! Sending prayers and wishes from Montana too!
Is it totally stupid that I cried in this post? It's the little things that makes children feel loved. Even if they are big children. One of my favorite posts so far!
Wow Sue Congratulations on your son's wonderful accomplishments. I know he will ace the interview.
I love always how you write and it always inspires me to try and do better.
Of course you have to let us know all about his big day
Love
Maggie
....and know that because your mum posted this, that many strangers will be thinking of you and sending those good thoughts your way!
Never thought of it that way but so true...he is interviewing them as they are interviewing him.
Nothing like the power of a Mother's prayer. I can feel it.
So wonderful! I hope things go well.

I do hope that everything goes well for him!
How wonderful! Best wishes being sent his way!
For some reason I was sort of humming "I hope you dance" right along with these words!
Todd! Go get 'em.
You have a lot of prayers surrounding you!
What a supportive and loving post. Keep us posted.
OMGoodness, Sue! This is so beautiful. I'm saying a prayer for him now...
I have my fingers and toes crossed for him. I know he will do well. Good luck!
And what a sweet good luck poem!
What a cutie! Why can't we have some good lookin' Docs like him? Someday, in the very near future, your son will be a healer, doing what he wants and loves to do. I can feel it in my bones! Sweetest poem ever because it was written with love!
What love and support you have given to your son!~Ames
I've been thinking about him ALL DAY - how did it go? I'm sure he did brilliantly - he is brilliant after all, and he had so many angels praying for him.
Sue, know Todd will be a success in this endeavor. Loved the poem you wrote for him. He will always treasure it. I am friend of your Mom and Dad here in I. W.
I SO get this post! Zach just turned in his match list. We find out March 15 where he goes for residency. Is that when your son finds out too? Where has he interviewed, where does he want to go?
What a wonderful family you have, Sue! I'm sitting here feeling proud of your son, too! Congrats to him as he continues on his wonderful journey!
Sweet poem! It's a perfect sentiment for everyone looking for a job.
That was beautiful and I sure hope the interview went stunningly well. You have a gorgeous son there :)

We are so lucky to have such wonderful children, aren't we? Sue, another meaningful post, my dear.
Wonderful poem to pay tribute to such a success..Congratulations to the whole family!
last weekend my 4th year college student came home and I found out his new job involves 40 hours a week on top of his school schedule. He's a big boy now in charge of himself, but hey, you never stop wanting to know. And the schedule is 4pm to 1am. Ahh.. the energy of youth!! Did I metion that I fell asleep on the couch last night somewhere between 9 and 10???
