Shower the People You Love...

A beautiful bride

A lovely hat

A BLUSHING bride

Imagine that

Good friends all round

And center, too

A room full of love

With plenty to do

And lots to eat

Now, ain't showers sweet?

(This is what we did at my house last night...)

=)

I love showers...sweet celebrations for the future journey ahead.
Looks like you had a wonderful day!

Does that come as part of your calling as the wife to a singles' ward bishop?

Sue I am impressed with your rhyming skills! Whoo Hoo

The bride is beautiful - Great pictures and it looks like a very fun shower - very well attended!

Are you related to the bride? Is it your daughter?

Actually, this gorgeous bride will become the wife of one of my best friend's sons. (For those of you who've been following me for a while, he's the one who served in the marine special forces in Iraq and was given the big, flag-waving welcome home celebration in their cul de sac.) The happy couple will be married on Friday.

=)

Oh yes bridal and also baby showers are the best! What a great tradition we women have. The food looks mighty good too.

It looks like a fun shower. I'm sure everyone enjoyed it a lot. I get invited to a lot of showers, both baby and bridal and they are ARE fun, but this one really looks specially so. Also, I loved the pictures AND the poem.

I missed a fun party and getting to know some great people. I didn't want to expose anyone to some bug I got, that reared its ugly head 24 hours before the shower. I thought I'd come right up until about 30 minutes before the festivities, when I finally admitted to myself that it was not a good idea.
Looks like a job well done.
