In Weather

Adolphe Valette

©2016 Susan Noyes Anderson

I went to England once.
London, not Manchester.
Rained cold, a bit sideways.
Dark, dreadful, dingy.
Under the weather.
I ran watered streets.
Unbooted, blithely undone.
Up, down, willy nilly.
Slowed through Piccadilly.
Magic.

  8. I think you wrote that poem about Ohio! It's the gray season..cold, gray skies and we had all the rain on Sunday. But your poem made England and it's weather magical and I thank you!
