The View

©2003 by Susan Noyes Anderson

At times, we look out on the world

and gain a clearer view,

but often we must fall to earth

to witness what is true.

  4. Lovely words and pictures. I agree, that when we are humble and on our knees our view increases. I've seen you commenting on Karen M. and Grandma Honeys blogs and just had to stop by and meet another Sister. Queens with 4 eyes ROCK! Happy Thursday!

  8. I'm like that...a Pollyanna looking at the bright side of life.

And boom...the rug is falling out from under me just now. Just found out that chemo starts Tuesday for 16 weeks and then radiation and then more surgery. Wow. It's hard to look on the bright side. But I can do it, I CAN do it!
    Love your beautiful photos.

  15. Forrest Gump's mother told it like it is, Sue. Life really is like a box of chocolates.

One of my favorite hymns is "Be Still My Soul." This is what we all need to do at times, to put the world we live in back into perspective.

Much love to you, my friend.
