America the Beautiful

In the land of the brave and the home of the free,

across rivers and lakes, above sparkling sea,

from the bright boulevard to the old country lane,

on a breeze that waves flags over changing terrain

floats a spirit of freedom so bold and so strong

that it stirs every heart with old liberty's song.

May God bless America. May she stand tall.

And may goodness and honor prevail over all.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

    LOVE that different rendition of the National Anthem! And your poem and pictures are superb! I think it's so funny the way your lettering switches back and forth to the red and blue...I thought I was coming up with something fun and original today! :) That is so funny...honestly, I didn't visit your blog before doing mine today. Great minds must think alike. :)

    I absolutely loved this post. I also love the Star Spangled Banner rendition. It is absolutely beautiful! I almost missed reading this. Yesterday was a bad day for me so I didn't do much. Pretty much stayed in my chair all day. Glad I went back to it though. I would have hated to miss this one.
