  5. I still look out my mom's back window and see a big tree across the field. That field was always open, either hay or corn planted there, but now it is a pasture with a fence, but I have had tree climbers in my house that should have climbed it, if only I had pointed it out. 2 of 4 who especially liked to climb trees...

  7. I used to have a tree with a totally flat limb that was easily climbed. I would sit there to get away from the world with a good book. I loved that tree...many, mnay years ago! Thanks for the memory!!

  8. We used to have a tree where we would spend hours and hours playing and reading and swinging. Loved it. The aphids(?)got it. Then gone. Lucky for my children, my parents have replanted and there is many an hour spent in that tree as well. Love the picture!

  9. That is sort of what is happening here...with our cherry tree that is overloaded with luscious fruit. It requires some climbing. Fun stuff.

  10. I loved the picture. Our neighbors had a big tree that I used to climb all the time. It was right across the alley from our house and I used to take my book up there and read. Whenever Mom needed me she would know right where to find me. It's a good thing our neighbor didn't mind at all.

  13. If only I could do that... I'd be hard pressed to climb anything! But then, if I did, I'd notice the ants crawling on the branch or whatever other little critters there are, and I'd have to get down. I love looking at nature. Don't so much love sitting in it. Except the beach.
