On Trees...and Me

My very best friend is a tree.
He lifts me up and sets me free.

In his strong arms, the sun draws nigh;
his leafy patterns paint the sky.

My dark blue skies turn brighter then,
And my poor heart grows green again.

The wonder of it heals my soul;
and I rise up and find me whole.

I spent some quality time among the trees yesterday. It always does me good.

    I loved the pictures you shared and I think i will take a moment and enjoy sitting under a shade tree and just meditating or perhaps sleeping.
    Blessings to you!

  8. I love trees! The bigger the better. And I was pretty old when I quit climbing them--and then it was only because people looked at me funny when they saw me up in one.

  13. Oh, I love the trees too. But I definitely have a deeper appreciation for them in the desert. I don't know what we'd do without them around our house. They keep it much cooler than without I'm sure.
