The welcome mat was out for our young friends yesterday.
It made us happy to see them lining up for dinner in our kitchen.
Oops. Traffic jam! But they still managed to get the job done...
Chowing down is their specialty. ;)
(Along with finding the desserts...)
Some of them eat in the dining room.
Others opt for the living room (shift 1).
(Or shift 2.)
The family room is a popular venue as well.
The most popular venue of all, you ask?
Ummm, that would be the garage...
where ice cream sandwiches are consumed by the dozens.
And darts
are the order of the day evening.
(she beat him)
THANKS FOR COMING, EVERYONE!
We loved having you, as always.

Mmmmm! Those deserts look incredible! It looks like it was a smashing success. Love your garage idea. My favorite though, the fire. It is freezing here today, so I am wishing for one. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great turn out! I'd come just to sit by that fire myself!
ReplyDeleteAnd that chocolate dessert thingy...Oh my!
You have the best looking parties. And each one seems to get bigger than the last. They sure do go through the good food!

ReplyDeleteok, I'm coming over to your house Monday nights. It seems like every time I visit your blog, you just had a party without me! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteYour young people's gatherings always look like so much fun. I imagine your house being one where you walk in and you can just feel the love. :)
ReplyDeletePlease tell me that the dart board is nowhere near the ice cream freezer. That could be deadly.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to make the garage available. Ha
(And I agree with Anna too. We need that recipe!)
Oh wow, your house really was full! Looks like you guys had a blast!
ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful that you guys put on such great parties for the young adults. They are so fortunate to have such a loving, caring Bishop who really gets totally involved with them, and of course a fun loving wife who goes along with the whole thing too.
ReplyDeleteI want to be like you when I grow up!
ReplyDeleteso nice for your YA ward, so cool of a bishop and sassy wife! They all look so comfy there, nice to be loved.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a ton of fun. But curious--how many people were there? All those rooms filled--there had to be a lot.
ReplyDeleteSue as always I love reading your post and seeing pictures of your gatherings. It brings back really warm memories of my childhood when we all did this.
ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful that you entertain the younger ones like you do. They need this now more than ever.
Love ya
