Before the night is over, there will be more than a few young adults
sprawled in front of this fireplace, newly adorned for Thanksgiving.
Assuming that history repeats itself (as I believe it does),
you can bet that a few more will be seated in front of this one!
We hope they all realize how welcome they are in our home...
And how grateful we are for each one of them.
We're looking for 50 kids this this time, give or take.
(You can look for party pics tomorrow!)
=)
OH how cool! :) Love your decor!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you put on a great party. I bet the youth can't wait.
ReplyDeleteAs for bubbles...i mostly do candles...but bubbles are divine on occasion. If i did them twice a day i'd probably have the same problem you do. :)
I take way too many baths.
Such pretty stone/brick work on those fireplaces. You are amazing for hosting a party that size- good luck!
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun!!! You guys are the best hosts in the world!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed that you would do all that for those kids.
Those kids are pretty great though. :)
Can't wait to read about it! Your fireplaces look wonderful! I love this holiday and having people over to enjoy it with me. In the Church, we sure do get that opportunity don't we?
ReplyDeleteYou are so good to open up your home like that. I feel so appreciative of all those who had my sons and girlfriends over when they were YSAs.
ReplyDeleteWe love having Thanksgiving decorations too, just makes things festive. How great that you have a youth dinner which helps many have a nice holiday...cudos!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun. There is nothing like feeding a crowd to make it feel like a party. I'm thankful for hosts like you
ReplyDeleteI love that arrangement of "Come Thou Fount."
ReplyDeleteHave a great time!

ReplyDeleteOh, wow! My kids would totally break all those ones on the fireplace. I bet that is one nice thing about having grown ups. Your nice fun things stay nice...and fun!
