The Apple of My Eye...

I'm at a dead run today (the first guests arrive at 1:00 pm), so this will be a drive-by post wherein you get a little taste of my grandson Bryce in all his spicy flavors. As my mother-in-law used to say of similar personalities, "He's a pistol!" (And he thinks everything else is, too.) Observe:

Ready...Aim...

FIRE!

Point taken.

  4. Pistol? He and Hyrum would tear the house apart, beat the tar out of each other, share pie, then crash in bed that night.
Don't you love boys like that?

  7. I love coming home at Thanksgiving. Walking into my parents' house and smelling the smells of home. Feeling the warmth. I bet your kids get that too. Someday, so will mine.

  8. My dead run was supposed to start today, but one of the gals called in sick so I'm running behind. Nothing like pulling a 10 hr day when you were scheduled for 4! So, my dead run will start in earnest tomorrow at noon, come heck or high water! Your grandson is adorable, and he does look like the proverbial pistol. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Kat

  15. He is adorable and has such a lively imagination. Isn't childhood grand? Our grandchildren bring us such joy, even when they are no longer children. It's just amazing how the love we have for them just keeps growing.
